First
Reconciliation

The whole Church, as a priestly people, acts in different ways in the work of reconciliation that has been entrusted to it by the Lord.

PREPARATION FOR THE SACRAMENT

Remote Preparation
Becuse parents are their children's primary teachers of the Faith, the example of parents is vital in the preparation of a child for every sacrament, including the sacrament of Reconciliation.  Additional catechesis (faith formation) is provided by Parish Religious Education sessions and St. Robert School.  Immediate preparation for the sacrament, however, will take place through a parent-student orientation session and home study.

Immediate Preparation
...consists of:
   •  a parent-child session on September 25 at 6:30 pm
   •  parent-student home study

CELEBRATION OF THE SACRAMENT
...will take place on Saturday, November 15 at 9:00 am, in church.  Reconciliation is offered throughout the year on Saturday afternoons from 3:30 - 4:00 pm in church.

For more information about preparation for First Reconciliation, please contact Gail DeFrancisco at 332-1164.
