We believe that no one should grieve alone. Bereavement Ministry provides support to those who grieve the loss of a friend or family member. To this end, Bereavement Ministers are involved in peer to peer ministry and help organize memorial events (such as the All Souls' Mass and the Memorial Christmas Tree). Members of the Bereavement Ministry receive training and support. Find out more here.
"The Common Ground of Grief" involves monthly presentations on various aspects of grief by Patrick Dean, Grief Counselor with Catholic Cemeteries. Presentations will be from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm and then repeated again in the evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Presentations are on the first Tuesday of the month and Support Group Meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. All sessions are held at San Camillo, 10200 W. Bluemound Road, Milwaukee, and are free of charge. For further information please visit Catholic Cemeteries or The Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
The members of the Prayer Network lift up intercessory prayers daily for those who have phoned in serious prayer needs. Members receive the requests once a week unless the need is more time sensitive. Prayer Network members may be compared to the four men who carried the paralytic to Jesus (Mark 2:1-12). We pray anonymously for others' petitions. One mass per month is prayed for the needs addressed by this Prayer Network. Click here to submit a prayer request.
If you know of someone who is homebound or in a hospital or nursing home and would like to be anointed or have Communion brought to them, please contact the Parish Office at 414-332-1164.
